SIOM’s MBA in Agri Operations Management strives to build operations professionals in the field of agro-based industries, developing relevant skills specific to the sector. All the programmes focus on building Operations and Supply chain capacities and capabilities.
The students are trained to tackle planning, development, and implementation tribulations that organizations might confront. The curriculum deals with topics such as Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Technology Management, Modeling dynamic systems, Operations analytics, Six Sigma, Strategic Management, and Leadership & Capability development courses. SIOM supplies competent leaders in operations management & Agri-operations management to the corporate world, who would contribute to the bottom line without longer gestation periods.

The SIOM M.B.A in Agri Operations Management deals with Operations management topics with the flavour of Agro-based industries. Subjects include Agro commodity markets, Processing and Value Chain in Agriculture, Agri Supply Chain Management, Advances in Agriculture, Agro procurement Management, Warehouse Management and Quality Management for Agro Products, and many more with managerial underpinnings. Emphasis on Entrepreneurship is also one of the intents, and hence project-based learning in each semester is part of the programme structure.
